The first owners of the Branchweilerhof: 1682
| For the safety of the Mennonites in the Palatinate, Registration and Tolerance documents where issued, which where called "Konzessionen". The first such Konzession, as previously mentioned, was issued by Kurfürst Karl Ludwig on the 4. August 1664 After each Throne change and request from the Mennonites, again were confirmed, including by Kurfürst Karl in 1682, Kurfürst Philipp Wilhelm in 1686, Kurfürst Carl Philipp in 1717 1717and Kurfürst Carl Theodor in 1743. | Ernst Müller reported, that around 1732 the Church at the Spitalhof ½ hour from Neustadt, including subordinate Areas of the Haardt and in Esslingen, Duttweiler and Mußbach. Total of 25 Families included. ("History der bernischen Täufer", Frauenfeld 1895). |
